Curaçao is in the Atlantic Standard Time zone (UTC−4), which is four hours behind the Netherlands in winter and five in summer, and one hour ahead of New York in winter. If you write in the evening from Europe, expect an answer the following morning.

Arriving on Curaçao
Curaçao International Airport (CUR) is about 20 kilometres away, which is 30 to 40 minutes by road depending on traffic around Willemstad.
We arrange airport transfers for our guests. In most cases Daniel collects you himself. He keeps an eye on your flight number, so if you are delayed he will still be there, and the price is agreed with you beforehand — no queuing at the taxi rank and no negotiating after a long flight.
Send us your flight details when you book and we will take care of it. The same applies to your return journey.
Before you travel
- A valid passport is required. An identity card is not enough
- Every traveller must complete the Digital Immigration Card online before arrival, including children and infants. It is free — ignore any website that charges for it
- Immigration may ask to see a return or onward ticket
- Enable non-European card payments in your banking app before you leave
Rules can change, so check your own government’s travel advice shortly before departure.
