About us
We are Diana and Martin Terstall, and together with our son Daniel, we are the proud owners of B&B Hibiscus Beach House in Curaao. Our shared dream of starting our own bed & breakfast became a reality in 2013. With many years of experience in the hospitality industry, we form a strong team that welcomes guests with passion and dedication.
I, Diana, have a background in tourism and administration, and I worked for many years with great joy in the travel industry. For over ten years, I owned a travel agency on Isla de Margarita in Venezuela. After moving to Amsterdam, I worked for a while at the local tourist office (VVV), where my love for hospitality grew even stronger.
It was in Amsterdam that I met Martin. Born and raised in the city, Martin completed a degree in hospitality and gained extensive experience working in various establishments. Later, he ran his own caf in the heart of Amsterdam.
Our shared passion for tourism led us to start a rental agency focused on short-stay accommodations for tourists in Amsterdam. Not long after, our adventure in Curaao began, and ever since, we've been happily welcoming guests to Hibiscus Beach House.
More than 13 years later, we still do this work with the same energy and enthusiasm. We love sharing our passion for the island and are committed every day to giving our guests an unforgettable stay.
